This class is perfect for beginners, those who have completed Improv 101, or those with some basic improv experience. The class will review 101 concepts and ensure mastery of more advanced 201 concepts -- the building blocks of hilarious improvised scenes! Those who complete this class can move on to Improv 301. Showcase: May 3 at 6PM Instructor: deej Daniel James Shafer (DJ or deej) is a multi-talented artist who lives in Providence, Rhode Island. He is an actor, improviser, music producer, and teacher. deej received his acting BFA with a minor in musical theater from Michigan State University. After that, he spent three years professionally living and working in Chicago, IL. He produces and performs with Kismet Improv's HOUSE PARTY in Pawtucket, performing with The ArcheHYPEs, Hot Popsicle, The Pop Hearts, and Hot Town. deej is thrilled to have the opportunity to teach improv. He believes that early exposure to the arts can positively impact one's confidence, growth, and overall sense of self. He is eager to share his passion for the arts with all his students.
